I’m very low maintenance when it comes to hair care. I like to keep it simple and stick to 2-3 high quality products that give my noticeable results. Lately, I’ve been incorporating more and more hair oils into my routine, whether it be as an ingredient in my shampoo, or a pure oil hair treatment. I love how they often eliminate the need for extra conditioning, which means you don’t have to buy or use as many products.
Argan oil in particular is quite popular and probably one of the most common ingredients that I find in my hair products these days (and even facial products – it’s extremely versatile!). From Jose Maran’s 100% pure argan oil to Amika’s hair oils, many hair care products are incorporating this moisturizing oil into their products. I’ve tried quite a few of argan oil products myself (including the two I just mentioned), and am always experimenting with new brands and product lines.
Before we get to my review of the newest argan oil hair products I’ve been using, here’s a brief summary of some of the benefits you’d expect to see from argan oil:

Quite recently, I had the opportunity to try out Argan Dew’s line of hair care products that incorporates argan oil. There line consists of everything from shampoos and conditioners to hair masks and serums. Here, I’m reviewing the Argan Dew Miraculous Argan Oil and Argan Dew Replenishing Hair Mask.
Argan Dew Miraculous Oil (Moroccan Argan Oil)
What it Does
According to argandew.com, the Argan Dew Miraculous Oil “acts as a daily double action treatment for all hair types by protecting and rehydrating dry, dull and damaged hair from root to tip, repairing and nourishing each strand. Argan Dew Oil contains essential nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants that work all day long to fortify the hair-improving strength, preventing frizz and creating healthy shine that lasts.”
My Review
First of all, compared to the many of the oils I’ve tried, the Argan Dew Miraculous Oil smells absolutely divine. It has an exotic spicy smell, but it’s subtle enough that only you and people that come close to you (like for hugs and kisses) will be able to smell. The texture is also a little different from your average oil. I found it to have a creamy consistency compared to the other oils I’ve tried. This makes the oil especially easy to apply, and distribute evenly through your hair. It really feels like you’re getting good coverage over all your strands. The Miraculous Oil doesn’t weigh down hair either, no matter how much product you use! Just for reference, I use about a quarter sized amount to get coverage of all my hair, which is pretty long.
Argan Dew Replenishing Hair Mask
What it Does
According to argandew.com, the “Argan Dew Replenishing Hair Mask uses only the purest oils from the Moroccan Argan tree to restore and boost the health of your hair. Not only does is revitalize all hair types but it also protects from future damage by forming a protective layer to keep it moisturized and safe from the stress caused by daily styling and natural elements”.
My Review
The Argan Dew hair mask takes the place of my conditioner on days I want a little extra moisturizing. It helps add softness that lasts long after washing it out. I also like the fact that it protects your hair, so I tend to use this on days when the straighter come out. I find this also works well to treat my dry scalp (the one place you wouldn’t necessarily want to apply anything like oil or other products post-washing that could weigh down your hair).
Before & After
Here are my before and after pictures. The after photo shows what my hair looked like after washing with my regular shampoo, then using the Argan Dew Replenishing Mask for 10 minutes followed by the Miraculous Oil.
After using both products, I noticed that my ends were moisturized and my hair was shinier, smoother, and straighter with less frizz.
