Amazon is one of my favorite places to shop for just about everything – books, beauty products, tech, and even basic household and cleansing supplies. Lately though, with their recent launch of Amazon’s Prime Wardrobe, I’ve been taking a deep dive into their fashion department.

Now you’d think with a section full of literally thousands upon thousands of items, you’d have no trouble finding new pieces. But the fact is, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed and completely miss out on some great brands navigating through Amazon’s storefront. Though their site does do a great job at allowing you to narrow down clothing by category and occasion, and then filter by item features (like color, neckline, length, and price), I still found myself staring at a bunch of obscure brands that I’d never heard of before…

Now, it’s no secret that Amazon Fashion offers some unbelievably inexpensive clothing from China-based brands along the likes of ROWME and SheIn. We’re talking pieces as low as $10. (Just search ‘dress’ and you’ll see what I mean!). Thing is, if you read the reviews, people often complain about inconsistent sizing, cheap materials, and even faulty craftsmanship, which is why I haven’t taken the plunge and placed an order (though perhaps someday I’ll give it a try just to test my luck).
Instead, I dug a bit deeper to find clothing brands that are still fairly affordable – meaning most pieces are under $100 – but that also offer high-quality items and sophisticated-chic styles. And I finally discovered six that made my list, which I’ll be sharing with you today.
Of course, there are some extra benefits to shopping fashion on Amazon. For one, a large majority of the styles are available on Prime, and some even ship through Amazon’s Prime Wardrobe (which is a relatively new service that allows you to ‘try before you buy’).
