Natural skincare products are gradually working their way into my skincare routine. From serums to heavy-duty moisturizers, I’ve slowly been swapping out some of my old favorites for safer, healthier, and often times more effective natural products. One of my most recent natural skincare discoveries comes from Colorado Aromatics, founded by Dr. Cindy Jones, a biochemist and herb farmer. She formulated an all–natural, plant-based, and farm-based skincare line that uses herbs grown on her and her husband’s Colorado farm (Certified Naturally Grown).

Cindy uses herbs that are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatories to help combat signs of aging and repair skin damage caused by wind, sun, and other environmental factors. Colorado Aromatics’ products are also formulated to protect the skin from dry, harsh climates. Springtide Gold Anti-Aging Face Cream
Springtide Gold is a natural anti-aging face cream that’s rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. It helps moisturize, soften, protect, and restore skin that has been damaged from being outside. The result is smooth, healthy, and glowing skin. It’s also packed with peptides to boost collagen synthesis and reduce wrinkles.

Winter can be a real struggle for me when it comes to taking care of my skin and keeping it hydrated. I’ve tried several intensive moisturizers, but almost always find them to be either 1) not hydrating enough, or 2) too heavy and greasy, and causes my skin to get oily and break out. Then I tried Springtide Gold and I was blown away. It’s a rich, intensive moisturizer that’s incredibly effective and hydrating during even the driest months. And yet despite being a heavier moisturizer, it feels lightweight on the skin. Its buttery smooth formula glides on the skin and absorbs quickly and evenly. It softens, smooths, and hydrates my skin, leaving my skin looking healthy, plump, and refreshed. My favorite part is that it leaves a matte finish to the skin that essentially mimics a mattifying primer. There’s literally no shine leftover whatsoever, and leaves my skin looking great even without makeup.
Razz Tightening Serum
The Razz Tightening Serum is an oil free moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid to help moisturize and firm the skin, mineral rich herb extracts to rebuild skin and support collagen, and other ingredients that help nourish, lift and tighten the skin as well as decrease puffy eyes. The serum is great for under the eyes and along the jawline, and creates an immediate tightening feeling. It can also be used as a spot treatment, an all over face moisturizer, or in conjunction with Springtide Antiaging Face Cream.

The Razz Tightening Serum is a welcome addition to my winter skincare routine. It adds that extra touch of hydration under my daily moisturizer, with added anti-aging benefits. The serum effortlessly spreads over the skin and absorbs in just a few seconds, leaving behind smooth, hydrated, and tightened skin. It also adds a sort of natural ‘glow’ to the skin, and makes the perfect base for your makeup. I’ll typically use it on my neck and under the eyes, but as we transition into the Spring and Summer, I anticipate using it on its own under my favorite tinted moisturizer or BB cream.
Facial Hydrators
Colorado Aromatics’ Facial Hydrators are great for toning, hydration and a little refreshment during the day. These facial mists contain micro-droplets of essential oils plus organic plant acids to be pH balanced to your skin. They are also rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents to help sooth the skin. They come in a variety of herbs like lavender, rose, cucumber, mint, lemon balm, clary sage, and tulsi. Use them anytime, anywhere – they work great on the body, face and even the hair (tames those frizzies!).

I’m a big ‘facial mist’ addict (you may have seen my previous post of favorites). Well, this is a new one to add to my list. It’s the one I’m grabbing non-stop lately (I’m almost completely through the bottle and ready to pick up another!). It’s incredibly versatile – you can use it after cleansing, or use it over your makeup to refresh and moisten your face throughout the day. The scent alone is uplifting (I tried ‘Tulsi’), while the mist itself feels so refreshing on the skin. These spritzers make an addictive little ‘pick-me-up’ that will have you reaching for it all throughout the day.
