As the weather gets colder here in the Northeast, I’ve slowly been trading in my cozy Soffe shorts for leggings – especially for more ‘chill’, lounging around kinda days. And what’s more fun than breaking away from the typical black leggings to play around with some cute prints every now and then? 🙂
Above, I’m wearing my very first (and definitely not the last) pair of Poprageous leggings, in the print ‘Ocean Meets Sky’.
If you’re new to Poprageous, they’re an American apparel brand that combines quirky prints with super comfy clothing. They offer everything from leggings to dresses in prints inspired by art, pop culture, games, and more. Collections range from ‘Geek Chic’ and ‘Art History’, all the way to more feminine and classic designs featured in ‘Girl Next Door’.
The leggings I’m wearing here are part of Poprageous’ Artist Series collection, and feature artwork by Terry Fan. I personally love the whimsical design (I think I may be becoming a fan of both Poprageous and Terry Fan!). The print itself is amazingly detailed, with colors that are true to the original artwork.
These leggings also fit amazingly well. The material is soft and stretchy, with a medium weight and almost satin-like feel – it easily molds around the body, creating a form-fitting look without feeling too constraining or clingy. The waistband is about 1-2 inches wide and sits flat on the waist without digging in.
The leggings also maintain their shape through both wear and washing – I’ve worn and washed mine several times now, and they haven’t stretched out or lost their shape. (I wash mine in a laundry bag on delicate cycle with cold water).
They are without a doubt the comfiest, best fitting, most durable (not to mention most unique) pair of leggings I’ve ever come across!
