The June 2018 Petit Vour beauty box packs five beauty products, including two skincare products to get our complexions clear and glowing, two gorgeously-smelling body care products, and one effortless, nourishing makeup item. Here’s the full rundown…
Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing Bar (Travel size, Value: $3) – Another new discovery from Juice Beauty. They seem be appearing quite frequently in these boxes, but I’m not complaining! First thing I noticed about this cleansing bar is just how amazingly fresh and citrus-y it smells (it contains real, organic apple, grape, and lemon juices, plus orange and mandarin oils). Once you lather it up, it helps hydrate, soothe, and protect using organic cold-pressed extra virgin olive and coconut oils, organic aloe, and Vitamin E.

Vert Mont Perfumery Cyrena (Travel size, Value: $5) – This is a truly enchanting scent – it’s complex, sexy, earthy, and intoxicating. Here’s a quick description: “Gardenia & Magnolia Grandiflora open to a Tonka glazed green Cacao & Pink Peppercorn heart, finishing with a leathery Labdanum Amber.” To me, it’s the perfect scent for fall/winter and summer evenings. And though it is rich, the scent is actually quite subtle once it settles on the skin, with very moderate sillage – perfect for everyday wear in my opinion. I had slipped a little on my wrists before writing this post and still cannot stop taking whiffs! It transports me to one of those landscapes only found in my favorite fantasy books…

Mun Anarose Hydrating Rose Toner (Travel size, Value: $7) – Boy am I obsessed with these spritz toners/facial mists. This one in particular has multi-benefits – for one, it works to soothe and hydrate using bulgarian rosewater, aloe leaf juice, and hyaluronic acid. Using willow bark extract (which contains natural salicylic acid), it also helps exfoliate dead cells, prepping the skin to receive nutrients. And finally, prickly pear stem extract and goji berry extract both contain antioxidants which help fight free radicals.

Goldfaden MD Facial Detox Mask (Travel size, Value: $20) – This is a purifying mask, designed to calm skin while drawing out pore clogging debris using zinc oxide, sulfur, and camphor, along with salicylic acid, bentonite clay and fruit and plant extracts. It can also be used as a spot-treatment on pimples for a quick-fix! Despite all the formula’s skin-clearing ingredients, it actually feels very soothing on the skin, and leaves my complexion feeling soft and balanced afterwards (and thankfully the sulfur doesn’t smell too intense!). I’m going to have to continue using this every few days to see how it performs long-term!

Clove + Hallow Lip Glaze (Full size, Value: $15) – Clove + Hallow’s Lip Glazes are essentially lip glosses, only minus the goopiness and stickiness! They offer a gorgeous, sheer wash of color (that can be build up with 2-3 extra coats) along with a healthy dose of shine. Formulated with natural olive, castor, jojoba, and argan oils, and shea butter, they also help to smooth and moisturize the lips. There are currently six shades available (three of which were sent out to Petit Vour subscribers this month). I received the shade Candied Hearts, which is a medium rosy-pink. I also own the shades Angelic and Spicy, which I’ve swatched side-by-side in the photo below. (Check out my review of Clove + Hallow’s other lip products here!)
