Just a few month’s back, I received my first ever product from Royal Apothic (as part of the February Glossybox). I was so excited to see it was full size, and was immediately impressed by the packaging. The lip butter comes in a clear jar, and has the prettiest little lid! It would definitely make for a pretty addition to anyone’s purse or makeup bag.
Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butter
As described on their official website, the Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butters contain grape seed oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil and shea butter, all to help keep lips moisturized. They also add a wash of color to the lips, which is where I think this product really shines.
Royal Apothic Tinties Review
The Royal Apothic Tinties Lip Butters come in five colors – Pink, Berry, Coral, Kissed and Nude – and I received the one in ‘Pink’. It actually came out to be a much brighter, richer pink shade than I expected. Plus, they are quite pigmented, and definitely add more than just a ‘hint’ of color in my opinion. The swatch on the right below shows the color payoff you get from two swipes of the tinties lip butters.
As you may be able to tell from the swatches, in addition to the rich color, the Royal Apothic Tinties also add a bit of a glossy shine.
Overall, I’m really liking these lip butters. They are sort of an all-in-one lip balm, lip tint, and lip gloss – giving you a nice color payoff, glossy shine, and some extra moisturizer. I think I may pick up Berry next!
