Sigma Beauty Nightlife Collection
Sigma Beauty’s Nightlife Collection is a 7-piece makeup set designed by Youtuber Camila Coelho. The collection is inspired by hot summer nights in the city, and balances dark and smokey cool tones on the eyes with neutral nude lips and warm glowing cheeks.
Also part of the collection is a 5-piece brush set that features three eyeshadow brushes and two cheek brushes, all fit with glittery handles to mimic city lights and match the ‘nightlife’ theme.
Today, I’m playing around with the eyeliner, lip liner, lip color, blush, and bronzer from the Nightlife Collection. Here’s my review, along with some swatches and a quick look.
The dual-ended eye liner featured in the Nightlife Collections comes with two shades – Eclipse, a classic black, and a Festa, a deep purple. Both are soft kohl liners and provide a super smooth application without zero skipping. They’ve richly pigmented and stay put without smudging. I love these two shades together – the purple adds the perfect pop.
In Fine Feather Lip Liner is a medium neutral pink. I imagine it would complement any skin tone. It applies smooth and evenly (thanks to the cacao seed butter, Shea butter, and caster oil), but also has decent staying power. Pigmentation is excellent, and looks great even when worn on its own all over the lips.
Dance ‘Til Dawn Lipstick is a fairly neutral light pink, created to compliment all skin tones. The texture is smooth and creamy, but tends to look a bit patchy on me. It’s especially unforgiving on dry lips, so I always have to take extra steps to exfoliate and moisturize beforehand. Otherwise, pigmentation is decent and takes 2-3 layers to reach full coverage.
Limelight Powder Bronzer is a matte bronzer that’s a bit on the warmer side. It takes a few layers to build up, but adds natural-looking warmth to the skin. It can also be used as a contour for those with fair to light skin with neutral to warm undertones.
Hot Spot Blush is a matte orangey-peach shade that’s a refreshing change from the usual pinks and roses. Similar to the bronzer, I imagine this would work best for those with fair to light, and maybe even medium skin (with some layering), with undertones on the warmer side. It pairs perfectly with the bronzer and also works surprisingly well with the cooler-toned lip colors and eye liners.
Sigma Beauty Nightlife Collection Look
Here’s a quick look I put together using all of the products above. I applied the dual-ended eyeliner in Eclipse on the top lash line and waterline, and Festa along the bottom lash line. Limelight Powder Bronzer was applied as a contour, followed by Hot Spot Blush just above it on the cheeks. I lined the lips with the In Fine Feather Lip Liner, and used Dance ‘Til Dawn Lipstick to fill them in.
All-in-all, I’m really drawn to the sexy-cool colors in the Nightlife Collection and can’t wait to get my hands on the cool-toned eyeshadow palette next!
