I sort of have this obsession with keys – specifically vintage keys with ornate, delicate designs. These pretty little antiques temporarily transport me to a different time, as I imagine what they could have possibly been used for in the past. Perhaps something of mystery, like a secret garden, or a woman’s safe where she kept her most precious belongings, like love letters, jewelry, pressed flowers and leaves from a time long past…(can you tell I’m somewhat of a daydreamer?).
And of course, when it comes to my taste in jewelry, I love wearing styles that incorporate anything related to my little, personal obsessions or interests (who doesn’t? :)). So when I saw this key charm from Stella & Dot, I fell in love with its vintage-like feel and delicate design. I had actually been eyeing it for a while now, so when Stella & Dot offered to send it to me for my review, I was thrilled!
The key charm is a very feminine, delicate piece that not only looks great on its own, but also layered with other necklaces. It’s lightweight and easy to wear, and I especially love how it dresses up a basic tee. The other great thing about this charm is that you combine it with other charms to create your own unique and personalized necklace (or bracelet). Here I have it on a shorter chain – the 16″ sterling silver chain necklace – which I plan to add more charms to in the future. 🙂
I’m really loving the quality of the jewelry from Stella & Dot, and this charm and necklace combo is no exception!
