I’m back today to share the second half of my Wet N Wild’s MegaLast Lip Color collection (you can check out the first part here if you missed it). This includes the seven deeper shades in my collection – mostly deep wines, browns, and dark pinks – all of which will likely be getting more wear as I gradually wane myself off of the pinky-nude, light lilac, and light rose lipsticks I’ve been using all summer long.
All of the lip colors I’m about to show you are cruelty-free, however only the ones with an asterisk (*) next to them are vegan.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Cherry Bomb’ (918) – This is a deep, rich red-burgundy. It’s the one of the two darkest shades that I own. As you may be able to tell, it can look a bit uneven when applied in just one coat. For that reason, I tend to use this directly over top a lip balm to help smooth it out and create a more ‘stained’ lip look instead of full coverage.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Cinnamon Spice’ (917B)* – Cinnamon Spice is a deep red brick with warm, muted undertones. It pairs amazingly well with red and gold-based eyeshadows.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Spiked With Rum’ (915B*) – Here we have a much more everyday wearable shade. It’s a muted, earthy rose with slight brown undertones. Not my personal favorite since it doesn’t do much to brighten or enhance my complexion. I imagine this looking best for those with paler skin and pink undertones.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Mocha-licious’ (914D) – This is probably the most ’90’s’ shade I own. It’s a medium, muted cool brown with a touch of mauve in the mix. Pairs well with very earthy, muted blush and eyeshadows, and equally with a simple black cat eye.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Ravin’ Raisin’ (916D) – This is the darkest shade in my collection. It’s a deep purple-wine shade that I love to wear with lilac and orchid blushes, and mauvy-taupe eye shadows.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ (908C) – This is a cool medium purple-wine shade. I comes out a bit lighter and brightener on the lips than what you might expect looking at the tube. Even still, it’s a nice bold, dramatic shade that’s great date night and evenings out.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Cherry Picking’ (965) – This is the brightest, most vivid shade I own. It’s actually very similar to the Wet n Wild’s MegaLast Lip Color in ‘Smokin’ Hot Pink’ which I featured in my first post, only Cherry Picking is a bit more cool-toned and a touch more vibrant. It transitions well from summer to fall, and is definitely one of my personal favorites!
