No matter whether you struggle with blemishes, dark circles, or dull skin, YSL has introduced a new set of Neutralizers, with individual shades to solve each skin concern. Keep on reading for a quick description of these color correctors, followed by my YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizer review!
What are the YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizers?
The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Neutralizers come in 3 color corrector shades that ‘instantly cancel and neutralize color imperfections for a flawless skin tone’. They each work as a complexion highlighter and target different skin concerns, from blemishes and redness to dark circles and dark spots.
Other features include:
- Better targeting: the easy one-click brush allows you to perfectly target the problem zone.
- Wear under or over foundation.
- Better buildable color correction: the lightweight formula allows for customizable and seamless correction.
Here are all three shades and what they correct:
- Vert Green: Corrects blemishes, conceals redness for an even skin tone.
- Apricot Bisque: Corrects dark circles and dark spots. Illuminate.
- Violet: Corrects yellow dull skin for a healthy glow.
YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizer Review
Pigmentation – The YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizers have excellent pigmentation, which is especially important when you’re using it as a base layer under foundation or concealer. It only takes a few ‘dabs’ of product to see a noticeable improvement in the areas you’re trying to correct.
Formula – The formula is surprisingly smooth and creamy, and dries to a satin finish. It doesn’t cake or accentuate fine lines, plus it layers amazingly well under concealer and foundation.
Packaging – While the applicator works great for applying the formula, the whole click pen is difficult to get working properly. It seems to randomly decide when it wants to come out – I tried 5 clicks the first time and it came out like crazy (probably enough product for 3-4 applications!), and the second time I tried it, it took 10-15 clicks before the product came out. This can become a little time-consuming as you go click-by-click, hoping not to lose product by clicking too quickly.

Above, I’m wearing the YSL Touche Éclat Neutralizer in the shade ‘Apricot Bisque’. Even the smallest amount of this product helps to tone down my dark circles. You can see quite a difference in the bottom ‘after’ photo. Despite its pigmented peachy-pink color, the corrector blends very well into the skin – so much so that you could get away with wearing it on its own and in place of a concealer.
